Job Overview

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to both technical and non-technical end users
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining computer hardware, operating systems and application software
  • Troubleshooting system problems and solving hardware/software issues
  • Providing support via e-mail or over the telephone, and onsite if necessary
  • Escalating and communicating with R&D team
  • Business trips within Japan if needed

Requirements:

  • Solid knowledge of Windows OS, basic to intermediate knowledge of networks and database systems
  • Great problem solving skills and communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Japanese (JLPT1, fluent or native speaker) and English (Business Level, able to read, write and speak)
  • 2-3 years previous working experience, preferably in a technical field
