IT Manager

We are seeking an experienced IT manager who has communication and technological skills to help us build out processes for software development and missions environments. This person will analyze current systems and assets, recommend, and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of AWS, network maintenance, DevOps, experience as a manager, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge. The IT manager will have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our operations and a long-term impact on our overall growth.

Responsibilities

● Maintain essential IT infrastructure, Operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, etc.
● Take responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiative.
● Working at local and global levels to achieve goals.
● Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration.
● Ensure Compliance, Governance and Security controls are applied.
● Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
● Develop strategies for the company.
● Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement.
● Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs
● Maintain Risk Management controls and remediation plans
● Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups

Required Skills and Experience

● Five or more years of experience in IT management
● Deep knowledge of programming languages and AWS Cloud technologies.
● Understanding of CI/CD tools and DevOps
● Strong creative and analytical thinking

Welcome Skills

● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
● Professional IT certification
● Great communication and team building skills
● Japanese and English proficiency (Business Level)
