Senior Data Analyst

This is a senior Data Analyst position reporting into the Head of Data Engineering and working closely with stakeholders in order to drive data within the company and influence design, features, and improvements across products. Flexible working style and remote work.

Responsibilities

Be a POC for questions and requests for the company's data

Contribute to the definition, implementation, and monitoring of data governance

Acquire data from source as well as other systems and maintain databases/pipelines

Understand business model and processes to develop requirements used to develop data systems

Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques and provide reports

Develop and implement data collection and analytics systems, and strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality

Requirements

At least 5 years' experience as a data analyst

Technical knowledge and experience in data modeling, pipelines, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques

Good knowledge of reporting packages (Business Objects etc.), databases (Postgres, Elasticsearch, etc), and programming (python, SCALA, etc)

Business analysis and documentation experience

Fluent English and basic Japanese
