Job Overview

Customer Service Team Manager

We are seeking an experienced senior customer service representative for a leading global retail company in Tokyo.

The Customer Service Team plays an important role in improving service by acting as a bridge between customers and stores by responding from the customer’s perspective. This position is responsible for customer service, leading the team, and building a system to handle the future increase in the number of stores.

Responsibilities

    ● General customer service and convergence within the team
        o Responding to inquiries *About 1,000 inquiries per month (90% by email, 10% by phone)
        o Follow-up and training of team members
    ● Prepare monthly reports and present improvement actions
    ● Establishment and systemization of work content and flow
    ● Negotiate with related departments (information sharing, support requests, etc.)
    ● Management of website store information
    ● Operation of our system (input, data processing, system modification)

Requirements

    ● Experience handling customer complaints (required)
    ● Experience working in a call center or customer service office in retail (food business experience a plus) (2+ years)
    ● Experience managing subordinates
    ● Experience in business improvement (planning and execution)
    ● Problem solving skills
    ● PC skills (Excel: SUM, if functions, Vlook, PPT and Word: inputting and processing into templates)
    ● Good communication skills and stress tolerance

Working Conditions

    ● Location: Tokyo Head office (Onsite)
    ● Working hours: 9:00-18:00 (staggered work hours negotiable)
    ● Holidays: Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays, year-end and New Year holidays
    ● Overtime: Less than 30 hours per month
    ● Telecommuting: No
